Dr. Hickenlooper earned his BS in Zoology from BYU and then his dental degree from Temple University in 1982. Immediately after dental school, he moved to Colorado Springs and joined a practice with another dentist on the south end of town. After two years as an Associate, he bought a practice in the central north end of town off Hancock and this is where he worked for 16 years before moving to the north east side of Colorado Springs in the spring of 2001.
Dr. Hickenlooper (Dr. H.) has a great deal of skill in artistically changing your smile with porcelain veneers, cosmetic bonding, crowns, bridges and implants. This will allow you to have the smile you've always wanted. He believes that, with advances in dental techniques, most people should be able to keep their natural teeth for a lifetime. His goal is to work with you to attain this goal.
Dr. H. lives in Colorado Springs with his wonderful wife, Debbie, and has six terrific children with nine grandchildren. He and his family enjoy the outdoors, water skiing, snow skiing, biking, hikes, and camping. He is also committed to serving his community through volunteer work with The Boy Scouts of America, singing with the America the Beautiful Chorus, and the past President of the local chapter. He enjoys singing bass with a quartet knows as Velcro, preforming at area events, plus he is very involved with his church. He has also been seen at the drag strip in Denver and Pueblo racing his 1953 Chevy truck that he built with his boys. Check out some of Gary's videos on his YouTube Channel.
His passion about life translates over to his passion about doing GREAT Dentistry. Give us a call and let's talk about your teeth and how we can serve you.
Hi! My name is Nadine and I am the Office Manager here at Rangewood Dental. I love to read, watch movies and spend quality time with my family. I moved to Colorado Springs from Germany in 1992 and absolutely love it here! I had the unique opportunity to be a stay at home MOM for five years. When all my children were in school I had become fascinated with the field of Dentistry and decided to go back to school.
I did my externship here with Dr. Hickenlooper, shortly thereafter I was offered a position here at Rangewood Dental and became part of an exceptional team. I truly enjoy being a Dental Assistant and look forward to meeting many new faces.
Hello, I'm Catherine the registered Hygienist on the team of Rangewood Dental. My career in the dental field began in 1989 as a Red Cross Volunteer dental assistant serving our troops and their families in West Germany. This work motivated me to continue to get dental experience and education until I ultimately decided to earn my degree and license as a hygienist.
Since March of 2003, I enjoyed getting to know our patients while working to improve their dental health as a hygienist. My patients inspire me as I hope I inspire them.
Hi, my name is Jenny. I have lived in Colorado Springs for 16 years and I've been married for 21 years. I have two children, four cats and I've been a part of Rangewood Dental for two years. I earned my Medical Administrative Associates Degree in 2005.
My hobbies are reading, bowling and I enjoy riding my motorcycle when the weather is nice. My favorite sports teams are the Green Bay Packers and the Colorado Avalanche. I also enjoy driving my 1972 VW Super Beetle, when it's not being repaired. I love to smile and I'm happy to share mine with everyone.
Hello, My name is Karri and I am the dental assistant here at Rangewood Dental. I have been an assistant for 8 years and love what I do.
